That means we provide strategic leadership for the region’s healthcare and make sure the £12 billion annual investment in staff and services delivers the best possible care and support for the public and patients.

As a strategic health authority NHS North West provides leadership for all NHS organisations across the region.
We make sure that NHS services in the North West provide high-quality, clinically-safe services and spend taxpayers' money properly. Improving public health and reducing health inequalities are also important strategic objectives. What we do
